Swirled
Last nite had de class dinner at Currywok, de all-time favourite of bukit timah students besides golden rooster..de turn-up was not bad, much better than usual ones i hafta say... De last gatherin with a plausible turn-up was perhaps austin's bday or de dinner before jan-enlistees enlisted...
Anyway, there was no students' meal on weekends and it turned out to be quite expensive..but that's ok... Then went Swirl for some chillin out..it's quite a nice quiet place actually, or at least when there's nobody haha =.="... They have board games there and cards, like Minds and Settlers'..but de place is a much smaller version...
One bad thing about gatherings now is that army is always de main topic... Not that i like to talk about it, it's juz that everyone is on this topic... It's ok to talk about general stuff which everyone understands, but things get stale when discussin more inside stuff... But still, it's great to see de familiar faces which i haven't been able to see for a long long time...
Somehow i know i can trust my bunch of classmates more than many of de people in army... Of course there are some in there whom i can really relate to and speak my mind with and i know i can trust... Besides 'em, there are many whom i don't really know, especially when people's minds are obsessed with OCS and they are desperate for de money, rank, glory and they give no shit about pride... Very sad...
And it's also sad that not every gatherin will have such a commendable turn-up... But well, shall still look forward to de next one, perhaps in a matter of months i hope not...
