PPP - Post-Prom Period
Can't believe how fast today went by - prom was like still goin on 24 hours ago... Didn't sleep at all last nite nor this mornin cuz some of de wushu guyz came to stay over at my place, talkin some shiat but mostly personal stuff... But in de afternoon i kept dozin off while watchin Ocean's 12, so i decided not to waste de movie and go catch up on some sleep...
Hmm i'm beginnin to feel de holidays driftin past quite quickly already, cuz there's beginnin to be less stuff to do... Yes reality is settin in - i've gotta go get a job... But i feel there's so much more i can do with friends before most of 'em enlist (kiam's enlistin tmr, wish u all de best man, hope u attain ur wish of becomin male model haha)... So i'm still gonna stick to de plan of gettin a job that starts next year... But tomorrow i shall go walk around and look for vacancies, cuz u get so little info in de newspapers and websites...
Speakin of prom, it was indeed a mass-camwhoring session... In de end i went for de Ryosuke outfit, juz that my shirt isn't really purple but dark maroon, and my suit isn't plain white but a little beige... Anyway who cares what u wear, in de end we will still be takin pics with one another and have fun... Austin's hair was cool though, shall post his pic up soon... But for me, i shall never dye my hair..juz hope i dun break that vow... Now it really feels like everythin has ended... As ainan says: if u think about it, u may never see some of de people ever again in ur life (gettin A level results probably?)... De word "never" is absolute and in GP we're supposed to refute it but now it seems naught but true...
And i was indeed right to say that large hotels don't offer good food... Even some large restaurants as well... That's why it's a great achievement for crystal jade to maintain a considerable standard... Newspapers, magazines, food-shows always introduce some famous foodplace but turns out to taste like crap - makes u wonder what singaporeans are really eatin man... But u start to understand when u see how they eat dim sum, immersin de whole piece into chilli sauce, or chicken rice when they pour de whole lot of chilli sauce onto de rice or eat de chicken de same way as dim sum... All these sauces are meant to supplement de main dish and it doesn't make anyone more man when they eat more chilli... Singapore de food heaven? Nah, fuck it... I pity so many good cooks who come here cuz their food gets shunned by de mainstream singaporean tastebud... Their future is bright in hong kong (competition is tough there though) but definitely not here... For singapore to get a little closer to food heaven, no offence but we gotta perhaps commit genocide...
Many a time when we eat in singapore, we don't hafta expect much..so we don't hafta try to make de food taste good... That's why i don't usually comment on food cuz there isn't really any point in doin so, over here..and what's more, what and how people eat is their choice and there's no reason for me to tell 'em that they're eatin de "right" or "wrong" way...
My mum juz gave me a new phone K630i !!! Seriously i was touched when she gave it to me, and i really didn't know what to say, cuz i was least expectin it... But of course on de other hand i would have really wanted to have it earlier so i could take so many pics of so many things - hamsters, people, animals, happenings - but i shan't complain cuz it's still too good to be true... But i'm officially converted to Ericsson from Nokia, and though it sounds weird, i'm gonna miss it... I'm one who doesn't like change, even if it's de only constant in this world...
Words are so powerful... It really helps to be able to talk... And that's why i think i'm handicapped, not by nature but by myself... Of course i'll say i can talk well in terms of shit, but when it comes to serious personal or spiritual talk like de one we had this early mornin, i'm de shit... But many a time i prefer not to talk too...
Oh well, i didn't expect it to be such a long post, hope it isn't too boring to read... I shall post some pics up next time...
