Been listenin to my mp3 player a lot in camp... It's a wonder how some songs have stuck with me for so long, and even though i would skip them when i reach them, i still love them, it's juz that i wanna look for better songs... But as i scroll further, i'm shuffled back to de same few songs and i realised these are de best... So i decided there are only several songs i have really listened to for de past decade or so, and that would be de case for de next decades to come... Well de song playin now is one of them and it's de kind of song i would wanna play and sing for my girlfriend (in de future haha) at some hotel lobby or cosy restaurant - Intercontinental looks good, can't get that place out of my head...
Air Supply, Collin Raye, Michael Learns To Rock, Robbie Williams vs the pussycat dolls, kanye west and all those smlj - i don't even know who's out there right now cuz i haven't been able to hear songs that catch my attention on de streets or on tv - juz by de Caps, i think people out there will know who wins (to sound diplomatic, i say that's in my opinion)... To not scare up-to-datemusic modern-song-listeners out there, i shan't bring out Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban or Enya... It's quite a pain when you have to resort to downloadin cuz there's nothin to hear on radio... So garmen should clamp down on them and not downloaders heh...
Anyway, de Olypmics never fail to entertain..a pity this year i can only watch on weekends, which means i missed a lot of diving and badminton especially and some gymnastics... Congrats to S'pore on winnin de medal - may have gotten another last night but that's ok - even though some may not recognise it cuz de whole team is from china... Maybe there would have been a public hol if we got 2 medals...
Since we're at sports, might as well . . . I've always been so-called attracted by sportspeople (there's a reason for not sayin sportsmen) cuz there's usually this character within them... And juz by watchin sports, you see many different characters but all these almost never overlap with those of academic prodigies/geniuses/smlj(oopz)... Well maybe it's de character they want to potray to their opponents but that's another level that shan't be discussed, not today... Say sharapova vs Justine Henin, ok 'nuff said... Say Feng Tianwei vs Zhang Yining, gotcha i like both of them..looks aside, they look cool on de court, their eyes never twitch nor look up into de sky for divine intervention, they don't go around screamin after every point won nor heave a huge sigh of despair when they drop a point, they see de big picture like few women... Them vs sharapova? They look better..i may never capitalise her "S" even at de start of a sentence... I think that's what brings people to de peak of de world, de way Henin picked herself up since de day she got thrashed by venus at de wimbledon finals in 2001...
P.S. i don't think music and modern song have to be explained, cuz one is music...
