Excusez-moi
Recently finished readin a book "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak... Even i'm surprised at de rate i finished it - about 5 days of intensive readin... It's one of de few english books that really captivated me, especially with its not-too-flowery style of writin (heh let's juz say that's de reason why i could finish it so quickly), even in parts where descriptive writin is major... And also, it's de second book after Mitch Albom's "For One More Day" that made me tear, but this book did it right at de end at de most dramatic whereas de latter made a constant effort...
Anyway, juz a short synopsis of de story, don't worry for those who intend to read it, i'm not gonna spoil any of it... It's about a young girl in Nazi Germany, a foster father, a good friend, a Jew, words, death, love, family - and as de title suggests, books and thievery... Yeah go read and put de pieces together...
Heh it isn't much of a convincin promotion of a book, considerin it's comin from someone who doesn't have that powderful a grasp of england and doesn't have many completed english books in his account... But lookin at it, perhaps that's de reason why it's worth readin...
It's been 9 days since de new year began and i haven't said anythin about it... Well since everybody's doin it... I'm juz lookin forward to de end of it cuz that would really put me into a really good mood, one that u call ORD mood... And also, i can officially say that i'm ORD-ing next year, nexttt year understand! But of course, it didn't start too well with a mahjong session that left me feelin totally, excusez-moi, fucked... And that leads me to my resolutions of
1) Spend wisely and be thrifty
2) To win >80% of mahjong games or secondarily >80% winnings of total mahjong transactions
Anymore? Erm for someone without a love life, let's juz say, excusez-moi...
